Bend, OR (June 27, 2007) - PRNewswire - On Saturday, June 23, Pronghorn, the premier, private golf community in the Pacific Northwest, celebrated its National Grand Opening, unveiling the new Tom Fazio Course at Pronghorn as well as the 50,000 square foot Clubhouse. The celebration began with Fazio leading attendees on a walk of his 7,447-yard, par-72, 18-hole course, which has earned recognition as "One of the Best New Courses of 2006" by Travel + Leisure Golf. During the five hole presentation, Fazio discussed the design process, maximizing aesthetics and how each hole plays. Particular attention was paid to the already famous 8th hole, featuring a petrified lava tube that bisects the fairway.

"We are extremely proud of this course," Fazio said. "It is visually stunning and extremely playable with a wonderful variety of strategic holes, settings and experiences. If we had to start from scratch again today, we could only hope to match the course we have produced at Pronghorn."

Following Fazio's presentation, guests were treated to lunch, tours of the Clubhouse and other activities. In the evening, golf trick artist Craig Hocknull performed followed by a gourmet picnic dinner on the event lawn with music entertainment by renowned jazz artist Kenny G. The evening was set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains peaks and the majestic Clubhouse, which features floor to ceiling stone walls, expansive stone decks, the Cascada lounge and Chanterelle, the restaurant named for the gourmet mushroom indigenous to Oregon's foothills.

Pronghorn capped off the evening with a rousing performance by ISIS, the house band from the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

"The National Grand Opening was an incredibly important moment for us," said Tom Hix, managing partner of Pronghorn Investors, the developer of Pronghorn. "Our vision for Pronghorn is finally a reality and we are proud to have built a world class community in one of the most spectacular golf destinations in the world."

Located outside Bend, Oregon, Pronghorn is the premier, private golf community in the Pacific Northwest and the first in the West to offer a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and Tom Fazio golf course side-by-side. For information visit www.pronghornclub.com.
