The biennial list is included in the September 2008 edition of the magazine, which hit newsstands on August 11th. Other Pacific Northwest area courses on the list include Pacific Dunes, Bandon Dunes, and Bandon Trails, all part of Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on Oregon's Southern Coast. The resort is also a part of KemperSports' management portfolio. "It is a great honor to be chosen one of the top 100 golf courses in the country by GOLF Magazine," said John Ladenburg, Pierce County Executive. "It is also a testament to hard work and creativity. We selected one of the world's best golf course architects and asked them for nothing less than a championship-caliber course. We got it."
